Dwight-Derby House | Medfield

Curatorial Work

The Dwight-Derby House is home to collections that continue to evolve today.

Collections

Our collections include authentic objects, documents and images owned by The Friends of the Dwight-Derby House. Collection items have been accumulated over time from the Dwight and Derby families, the Dwight-Derby House as an organization and the Medfield Historical Society.

The items in this collection help interpret the lives of the Dwight and Derby families and the times in which they lived. The date range for all the items in these collections is 1659 to present.

Donate your Heirlooms

The Friends of the Dwight-Derby House accept donated furniture and artifacts from the 17th-19th century. These may be used to enhance our displays and special exhibits and tell our story. Please contact us if you have a family heirloom that needs a home. The museum does not accept “unsolicited donations” or “drop-offs.”
